Laura Lamb Mallet is a photographer, visual artist, and an aspiring writer. Laura creates work focussed around the role of the woman in contemporary photography, and the wider representation of female sexuality in the media. She aims to empower and entice, and to construct narratives that transcribe thoughts on the human condition that are incommunicable in any other form.
During her time at university Laura developed an unquenchable thirst for the provocative and unaddressed. Her portraits of women explored problematic themes and ideologies that led to the burning questions she addresses through her work.
Laura is currently working and living in Bristol alongside, completing her Photography MA at the University of the West of England.
